PressGuard P7 | Expandable Baby Gate Pressure Mounted Fits Standard to Wide

We bought this gate to install at the bottom of our stairway to prevent our 1 year old granddaughter from being able to crawl up the stairs (she is very adventurous!). The installation was easy and straightforward and the fit is very sturdy. It's also attractive and easy to use. It also helps to keep our bulldog from roaming upstairs, which is an added bonus. Definitely gives us peace of mind, I highly recommend!

Was a little tricky (for me !) installing - wanted to make sure it was lined up evenly and it wasn't going to be pulled down by a very strong 14 month old. Loved that it was no drill - nothing worse for me than drilling holes into drywall. I do have an issue with the 3 stickers (2 of which are large). Any suggestions on how to remove. I had to give up due to my frustration. Will try other methods - good old soap and water perhaps. Just looks terrible in the mean time. Would have been better to have an easy peel off sticker because I can't soak the gate in water.

Let's be honest, most baby gates are an eyesore. My wife hated the plastic one we had. This metal one actually looks clean and matches decor. Sturdy and doesn't look cheap. Happy wife, happy life.

nice gate but only 36” wide and not 40”and I was berly about to use it for a 37.5” opening with the adjusters almost fully extended !

The fence is beautiful and so easy to install as I am challenged with installing things without my husband, so I was very proud of myself! The color is great. And it holds up very well. I try to keep my toddler from standing on it, but even when he does, it does not budge. The fence I did receive did have two cracks in the plastic, but I reached out to customer service and they were so helpful and quick to respond and are sending a replacement.

Customer service was wonderful. The gate easy to install and very intuitive. Best of all, my grandson can’t get up the stairs! Looks good. Well made. Thank you!

We needed a gate to separate our dogs from my mother-in-law who we just moved in (hospice). This gate is well made and adjustable. My husband was able to remove part of it and it work’s perfect. It’s a little taller than the average doggie gate. I love that you can lift up on the the latch and the gate will swing open in either direction. Well worth the money.

We have a new puppy and need to keep him under control. We have the normal doorway and then the kitchen doorway. I love the opening and closing the gate. Fits perfect!

I love this! Looks nice and clean, very sturdy, and easy to open. The latch works great and keeps our dogs from entering the hallway. Would definitely purchase again.

I wish the gate was a bit taller . My husky get anxiety during rainy storms and goes crazy trying to get confort and I’m afraid he will try to jump this gate.

This is a very large gate when it is all assembled but it has smaller extensions.The extensions help with different angles of our staircase .Very sturdy.

Love the sturdiness, door closes by it self and also has the option to use the pressure points or the screws. I had a bit trouble setting it up (I followed instructions- don't uses extension only on 1 side) , one of the extensions didn't fit in the door gate, I tried a second section and same result; so I had to leave the extensions only on one side; so far is working great.

My opening is exactly 48', but the base board is not, it is about an inch shorter. When I took out one fence piece it was too wide to work at the top which is 48'. I sanded down the two bottom posts and was just able to fit it in.

I'm using this as a gate for my dogs area. I'm really surprised how well it's working. I thought he might try and jump over it but he actually hasn't. And he loves all the new room he has 😊

Our stair opening is 40" which seems to be problematic opening size for this gate. While it "can fit", the gate is not safe with the included hardware. The only way for this to fit was to extend the threaded pieces way out to the point they were hardly engaged. With a hard bump, the gate came detached and fell. Luckily it was my wife that hit it and not my son. Also luckily I have access to design and 3d printing so I made some new spacers to fit in the wall cups (last photo). Possibly if you bought some aftermarket cups ("wall protectors") those could act as spacers. I gave this 3/5 because that definitely a safety concern the manufacturer did not address. Another thing they could have done was provide a table with your opening size and what combo of spacers to use, but that's easy enough to figure out with trial and error. The gate itself works good though.

I had a wider area than was angled. Require 4 Y’s. Ordered extra. Really would have liked better instructions. Your instructions are poor trying to locate the ones needed. Also ink is so light even harder.Love the final product but required s least 3 hours snd redoing 3 time’s minimum.

This gate was not infinitely adjustable. We did not have equi-distant walls(top to bottom) or stair step that was level. Installing it out of the box couldn't be done without creating wobble. The instructions tell you to set gate back 15 in from stair (which we assumed was to avoid tripping on the bottom bar). We placed that tripping bar right below the top stair as you can see (. We also placed two little blocks as an extender at the top to compensate for the space difference from the top of the gate to the bottom of the gate in the wall. Once that was done, it was perfect. Before buying it, decide if you have to make any adjustments and if you can handle doing those adjustments. For the money, this was a great investment!

I have an oversize opening between my dining room and kitchen (47 inches) and was looking for a tension gate so that my pomeranian puppy could stay in the kitchen area if I was gone for several hours instead of being in his crate. I first purchased one from another source that was advertised for up to a 51 inch opening. However, when I removed panels to make it fit, the space between the wall and gate allowed him to come through so it was returned. I did more searching and found the Babelio gate. Paid more than the first gate, but it is much better made, the "door" for passing through is wider, and I only had to remove the single bar addition for a perfect fit. It is very sturdy and secure with using only the tension mount. I am very satisfied with this product, and it definitely fits my needs!

It is attractive and sturdily built. However, it canot be put up and taken down as needed, like when grand kids come, or to put it in a different doorway. The gate stays in place by a frame that spreads (springs) out at the top (see photo). Bending it towards the middle upplies the tension to hold the gate in place. But i could not manually bend it towards the middle (78 year-old male, 6', 201 lbs). So it appears to be a one time placement between two solid door jams. Making it worse, I removed all packing including the strap holding the frame in tension before reading the instructions.

This works great for my stairs!
